Frequently Asked Questions

How long does my hair need to be in order to get waxed?

The hair at least needs to be a quarter of an inch long, so think the size of a rice grain.

Should I prep my skin before?

Exfoliating and moisturizing the area at least the day before your appointment makes the hair removal process easier. During your appointment we will take care of prepping the skin.

How often should I get waxed?

Every 4-6 weeks depending on your hair growth cycle.

Can I get waxed during my menstural cycle?

Yes! Just keep in mind the area is more prone to sensitivity during this time of month. Taking an ibuprofen about 30 minutes before your appointment can help manage any discomfort. Make sure to wear a fresh tampon and we will get you taken care of!

Can I wax if I am pregnant?

Yes! If you are about two months until your due date check in with your doctor. The skin will be more sensitive due to hormone changes, but we will make sure that you are as comfortable as possible.

What should I avoid after my wax?

Hot baths, saunas, steam rooms, exercise, tight fitting clothing, touching the area, shaving, and avoiding sexual activity for at least 24 hours.
